Simply put, one of our clients has learned (the hard way) that choosing the right developer to start his company is a matter of life or death for his company.
One of our newer clients has asked us to take on the job of rescuing his original company’s website. Like some of our clients, this particular client owns a few companies and we have currently helped him with the start-up of 2. But the one we did not help in, is the one we want to talk about in attempts that this particular scenario never happens to any whom read this.
This client ordered his development from a singular [...]

This is an issue we have been following very closely for the past two months. Introduced in the US House of Representatives H.R. 3261 (the “Stop Online Piracy Act”) and the US Senate S. 968 (the “PROTECT IP Act”) , the bill comes across as an act to stop illegal file-sharing, piracy, and web forgeries (spoofing). This would be fine except and most welcomed if it’s methods for enforcement (not punishments) weren’t so harsh.
These resolutions mandate that software companies and hosting providers keep constant monitoring and reporting to the Federal Government, providing [...]

Many web developers and web designers out there still (for some strange reason) make extensive use of tables in their style and layout. Ever had a contractor building your house actually use 20th century building materials in its construction? How about a mechanic using 20th century iron crafted parts instead of aluminum or steel? When your developer uses tables to create your website they are doing the same thing and the most frustrating thing is that it costs nothing to use the updated CSS methods, in fact it is much easier and less confusing! The Fight Against Spam

Dear Customers,
We hope that we can deliver a powerful message to all of our current and future customers today in order to fight internet and email spam. It has come to my attention that a few of our clients have been receiving some spam that gets past the filters. Believe us when we say we regret this happening, because when you get spam it costs us money just as it does yourself. Our systems block about 99% of all spam that you actually see, so keep in mind what our email overhead is for you to get 20 spam emails per day.
There is a way to stop it, if every website owner out there [...]

Facebook users received a chilling message and wake-up call from Facebook this morning: they have not been forthcoming about our privacy”. Facebook, because of their severe negligence and disregard for our privacy has been “exploited” by app designers out there like “Farmville”. As you have been playing these apps, their developers have been probing the Facebook database for every bit of information you have given to Facebook. [...]

Over the past five years that Twitter and Facebook has shaped the internet; URL shortening services have been springing to life all over the web. With the web there is always 3 things you can always count on, 1: There will be downtime, 2: It is never secure, and 3: roll a die, if you get 1-3, chances are the guy you’re talking to is a scammer.
Scammers make horrific use of these URL shortening services by masking their URL to URL detection services like your email provider’s spam protection software which means it cannot see that there is a link in your email for [...]

On September 8, 2010, Google released and announced their new search interface “Google Instant”. As they said; this technology will bring you search results instantly to your desk top as you type.
This launch was not about putting the hyper-drive on the internet but instead to show the users how to better refine their search queries so they can see every letter grouped with another is another query. Through this, Google aims to influence the way we make our search queries. [...]
