Starting on October 28, 2013, we will begin to update all of our clients to WordPress 3.7.   With the new release of WordPress 3.7, we can now place our clients websites on an automatic update channel which will lower our costs of updating websites and make sure a very fast response to any future security updates.  This will come at a price — and that price is that some updates may potentially break heavily customized code.

We will be working very close with all of our clients during this process to ensure that the upgrades consistently are done in a manner that minimally impacts the theme and design of a site. This means we may have to completely restructure some of the code of some clients and we may even have to do complete re-designs. Clients will have a choice of upgrading to WordPress 3.7 with these risks or stay on the 3.6 channel for slower but consistent updates.
