Our History

We hope you are as excited about careers with us as we at Goldsboro Web Development are about web design, web development, eCommerce, and SEO! Our company has led the charge in information technology in Wayne County since 2006. We have brought hosting infrastructure to the area as well as the first OC48 in Wayne County by Bell South in 2007. Today we specialize in web design and development technologies using the frameworks, WordPress, PHP, MySQL, and Apache run on CentOS (Linux). We are so passionate about web design that even our sales team is proficient in all of the mentioned technologies!

Bennefits

Goldsboro Web Development is a small business and we keep our prices as low as possible for our customers. Therefor, we don't have much in the way if benefits to offer. Full time employees are compensated with paid vacation, paid sick-leave, and a 401k. However there are a few other things that our employees do benefit from. First of all, we don't have a central office, therefor you work from the comfort of your own home. Your expenses while working from home will be paid for by the company. After working for us for a while we may even provide a company cell phone and company computer.

Our Team

Our employees work together cohesively in a virtual office environment. This means we're online a lot and you must maintain an active internet connection for the duration of your employment. This will require software to be downloaded and installed to your own computer or smart phone. We do not issue equipment to new employees. We are preferential to US Military Veterans for employment and do not discriminate based on Race, Religion, Gender, Disability (so long as it does not interfere with your duties), or Sexual Preference.

On-The-Job Training

For most of our job postings, we will provide some on-the-job training. As a small business, we will expect you to come into the company knowing what you need to do in order to execute your duties. Most small companies cannot afford a week's worth of paid training without any productivity, and we are no different. However, orientations with our company, it's policies, and software is something we will help with and get you acclimated to. During your training time, you will be expected to be productive and agile.
